      Usage

      <article class="checkpoint" data-state="saved">
  <header><h3>Before responsive CSS changes</h3><span data-checkpoint-meta>Saved 4 minutes ago</span></header>
  <section>...</section>
  <footer><button type="button">Restore</button></footer>
</article>

      Parameters

      APIValuesPurpose
      data-statesaving, saved, restoring, restored, expired, errorCheckpoint lifecycle
      data-checkpoint-metaRecommendedTime, scope, and size

      States and variants

      Restoring is a consequential action when it overwrites current work. Confirm the exact scope and preserve a recovery checkpoint when possible.

      Accessibility

      The restore control names the checkpoint when several are visible. Saving and restore completion use one bounded status announcement.
