      Product boundary

      It does not proxy remote media, moderate content, or edit pixels. Enlarged inspection belongs to Image Viewer and choice tasks belong to Image Select.

      The component publishes a reusable interaction boundary only. Data fetching, persistence, permission, trusted content, and business entities remain host-owned.

      Accessibility

      Informative images need accurate alt text; decorative images use empty alt. Declare dimensions or aspect ratio and provide textual recovery for failure.
